A word from our Founder
Through my work teaching in UK and international schools, tutoring, and writing about schools for leading publications, I’ve had a front‑row seat to what parents really want from their child’s schooling. Put simply, it’s about finding the ‘best fit’ – a school that suits your child’s unique needs and strengths.
TGL Education offers parents a truly personal, human service that considers not only the academic needs of their child, but the social and emotional ones too. Our clients work with the same experienced education consultant from first contact to school placement and beyond. We’re here to guide, reassure and maximise the chances of success for your child and for your family as a whole. With strong, long‑standing relationships and on‑the‑ground knowledge of schools, we help you navigate this complex decision.
During my seven years living in Singapore and Hong Kong, I saw first‑hand the agonising decisions parents face when choosing a UK boarding school. The same is true for families in London exploring schools ‘out of town’. As a parent of two teenagers in the UK independent boarding sector, I understand this personally.
We’ll dig deep to ask the right questions and provide the right support around pre‑tests, interview practice, tutoring and guardianship. We are fiercely independent and receive no financial incentives from any schools, so you can be confident our advice is genuine.
For families travelling from overseas, we can provide a concierge service to help with flights, accommodation, transfers, private taxis, car hire and more – so the
practical side of your school search feels as smooth as possible.

We explore your child's academic needs and personality to help build a picture of their strengths and interests. Family logistics and circumstances are also considered and we listen to school preferences you might already have. Our prices are shared at this stage.
Based on the information you share with us, we curate a long and shortlist of best-fit schools based on our extensive on-the-ground knowledge. An extensive phone/video/in-person meeting is arranged to discuss the short list. Advice given on next steps.
We will administer the entire process from application to acceptance, guiding you and your child to ensure a seamless entry into your school of choice.
